Got a new pair of rain boots in the mail today (thanks mom and dad for the gift card!; you two rule, and managed to turn a luxury item into an affordable item). I keep staring at them hoping that they’ll motivate me to update my resume in a timely fashion. Because that’ll lead to a better job, which means more moneys so I can pay rent and the bills and still have cash left over to go to buy more shoes, expensive foods, and tickets to outdoor festivals with my English boyfriend. One can dream, right?

Query: I’m going to throw this out here since I know people do read this*, and hope someone replies. What are some of your favorite websites? By that I mean what are your favorite personal websites? Artist websites? Professional websites?
I’m really trying to get my act together in creating and maintaining a personal webspace in order to blog/sell myself (I eventually want to have a portfolio along with my resume up) and use it as a networking tool, only I can’t really tell one of my friends what I want because I don’t really know what I want. But I know it when I see it. Argh. Help me.
