Meet Miss A.
I think I’m the only person who remembers The Letter People. At least among those in my age bracket. I stumbled upon the following video last night, and had amazing flashbacks of the inflatable letters that we used to play with in kindergarten, and the tapes that we listened to in class.
My best-o was less than understanding of the sheer awesomeness of this rediscovery on my part:
melisjoanne: I think you just went to a fucked up school, is all.
melisjoanne: That’s creepy.
melisjoanne: No offense.
I should probably add that Melis teaches at a Montessori school, and that most assuredly is the opinion of a well-educated and reasoned educator and not simply the outburst of a woman who can’t handle my fire.
